The contents of this blog are my personal reflections on mostly external material that is not mine--not all of which I agree with entirely--and in no way do I wish to offend anyone by some of the content they may come across here, much of which will be controversial, or the manner in which it may sometimes be delivered. That manner arises from passion, which arises from love--I have started this blog because I care about people, as much as they are turning against themselves and push me into bitterness. In it I will comment on and open up discussion about world events, politics, conspiracy "theories", human rights violations, extra-terrestrial speculations, science, technology, philosophy, spirituality, comparative religion, archaeology, Egyptology, esoterism, inter-faith dialogue, art, and music. I will also be sharing my personal writings: articles, poetry, etc. My goal for this blog, and it's main purpose, is to keep track of and back-track to information I feel is crucial to be passed along to other human beings in this dire time of our history. I am young in years and ever-learning myself, and I only wish to use the power of the internet to draw others into learning with me and challenging me (as I will challenge you) in a mature and intellectual manner through this outlet. If you find my posts to your liking, then do not hesitate to subscribe and recommend me to others.
Browse through older posts and you will come across much information to ponder, as well as personal commentary.
Peace to all peoples of this world. You are all my kin. -Daniel Phoenix

The cost has been shown to actually be three times this amount and rising, nearing 4 trillion. Yet Obama cited a gross estimation of 1 trillion spent on U.S. wars as a reason to withdraw troops from Afghanistan, and has instead decided to keep some there along with NATO bombing.
